INSIGHTS INTO THE BERLIN COLLECTION BY ROBERT STORR

In 2012 Robert Storr, Chairman of FAPE’s Professional Fine Arts Committee, visited the U.S. Embassy in Berlin, Germany, to install a series of prints by Jackson Pollock. While at the embassy, Mr. Storr made a presentation to staff about the Collection, and was filmed talking about some of the key works by artists such as Jackson Pollock, Sol LeWitt, Ellsworth Kelly, Andy Warhol, the Gee’s Bend artists, among others.

QUILTERS OF GEE’S BEND, ALABAMA

In 2007, FAPE added prints created by four Gee’s Bend quilters, Louisiana Bendolph, Mary Lee Bendolph, Loretta Bennett, and Loretta Pettway, to the Lee Kimche McGrath Original Print Collection. This film features the artists as they discuss their quilting and printmaking processes.
