The U.S. Embassy in Tunis, Tunisia was designed by Tai Soo Kim Partners and opened in November 2002. The building is a tribute to classical Tunisian construction referencing Islamic architecture while incorporating the most modern materials and security elements. The building is organized around a series of courtyards, which evoke traditional houses of the souk.
