FAPE is deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved Board member Dorothy Lichtenstein. Her contributions to our program were endless.

Last year, on Monday, October 23rd, FAPE held the annual Sharon Percy Rockefeller Panel Presentation at the National Gallery of Art’s East Building Auditorium. The talk honored the centennials of Ellsworth Kelly (May 31, 1923) and Roy Lichtenstein (October 27, 1923.)

Dorothy joined Jack Shear, FAPE Board member and President of the Ellsworth Kelly Foundation, artist Odili Donald Odita, and musician and educator Hayes Greenfield in conversation. The panel was moderated by Harry Cooper, Senior Curator and Head of Modern and Contemporary Art at the National Gallery of Art.

In memory of Dorothy, we are pleased to share a link to the discussion. She is deeply missed by everyone at FAPE.
